Notice of Violation

On September 3, 2026, the association received a Notice of Violation from the New Mexico Environment Department regarding a sample from Well #3 that appeared to show excess chromium. As required, the association notified customers and posted the Notice.

On September 10, 2026, NMED issued a retraction, confirming that Well #3 did not show excess chromium and that the original Notice was sent in error. A copy of the retraction letter is available at the link below.

Because the original Notice link was included with recent billing statements, we want to ensure customers are aware that the Violation has been officially withdrawn.
